Felony Gun Charges Reduced to a Misdemeanor

Our client Benjamin was charged with a felony gun charge. The prosecutor wanted not our client to plead to the felony. We were able to set the matter into a special court called “Mandatory Settlement Conference”. At that hearing, we were able to request that the Court reduce the offense to a misdemeanor and give the client an opportunity to do house arrest. Being a convicted felony has strict consequences. By avoiding that stigma, our client was very happy with the result, as we are.
